LINKS TO OTHER PAGES ABOUT CD TENERIFE
Peña Internet was the first ever Internet page about Tenerife football club and is credited with giving the club the idea and incentive to start its own website. However, there are now a number of other pages which followers of the club can visit.
For English speaking supporters the site run by my friends in the "Armada Sur" (literally Southern Army) based in the South of Tenerife and catering to international supporters including ex-pat residents, locals and holidaymakers is a very useful complement to this site as it has a message board forum, pictures and details of how to travel to matches with the "Armada" if you are on holiday in Tenerife. Click on the banner below to access the site.

The official club site is now full of information but only in Spanish. The site contains not only information on the club but also the opportunity to download screensavers and wallpapers for use on your computer. It can be found at:
CD Tenerife official site
Another "peña" (fanclub) site, in Spanish, is:
Frente Balanquiazul
Clicking on the logo below should launch your media player and connect to Tenerife's Radio El Día which broadcasts live commentary in Spanish during CD Tenerife games and other radio programmes when games are not being played.

OTHER SITES ABOUT SPANISH FOOTBALL
Football Forum - a general English language football site has a section for fans who wish to exchange information on a Spanish football bulletin board.
The Spanish daily football paper Marca has a site on football and other sports at:
Marca
or you can go directly to the Segunda División page and the CD Tenerife page.
and considerable football information can also be found on the webpages of another daily sports paper:
Diario AS
For more information on Spanish Football you could also look at the pages maintained by the Royal Football Federation of Spain and two others with details of the Spanish League, results, league tables, rules of competition, etcetera:

OTHER TEAMS I AM INTERESTED IN
My favourite British team is Stoke City who play in the English First Division (equivalent to "La Segunda División" in Spain as England has a Premier League). News about Stoke City can be found in the web pages of The Oatcake "fanzine" (an unofficial supporters' magazine) which is kept up to date quite quickly and as very interesting:
Oatcake Fanzine
The Stoke City "Teamtalk" site is updated almost every day and can be found at:
Stoke City Team Talk
There is also sports news including information on Stoke City on the site maintained BBC Radio Stoke. Match reports and interviews with the manager can be listened to shortly after games.

Although I support Stoke City (my father, Fred Woolley, is from the "Potteries" area around Stoke-on-Trent which explains the connection), I was born and brought up in Bae Colwyn (Colwyn Bay in English) in North Wales and my mother, Jean Woolley is also Welsh. Some information about football in Wales can be found on:
The Football Association of Wales website
and a fanzine site Dragon Soccer.
Taunton Town is my local team where I live and they play in the Southern League (Western Division 1). I am a member of their supporters' club.
I previously lived in the Rossendale Valley in Lancashire for many years and regularly watched one of the local teams, Blackburn Rovers, who won the English Premier league in the 1994-95 season:
Blackburn Rovers
I have always been interested in Latin America and when I visited Argentina a few years ago I went to see Velez Sarsfield play against Rosario Central. Since then I have followed the fortunes of Velez:

I am firmly opposed to racism and xenophobia in football (and generally) and recommend the excellent site maintained by Kick Racism Out of Football:

I also recommend the English pages (from which you can access other languages) of the
